Yes, all you fans of bacon have another place to call ‘home.’ I’m still working on the online scratch and sniff blog, but, alas, the technology has not arrived.
To start the blog off right, I thought I’d post something to help us start our days.
Remember growing up, sleeping in on Saturday or Sunday, when our dreams would be interrupted by the smell of bacon cooking from the kitchen? Mom or dad busy putting together the weekend feast. And no matter what you’d do you just could NOT go back to sleep with your mouth watering just thinking about that crispy salty goodness?
This is an invention from the summer of 2008, but still worth mentioning for newbies to my site. It’s a Bacon Alarm Clock designed by Matty Sallin, Daniel Bartolini, Hsiao-huh Hsu.
Set a frozen piece of bacon in your clock at night and 10 minutes before your alarm is set to go off, two halogen lights kick on and cook your bacon. How can you keep sleeping?
You can’t!
(Photo above of my dad caught in the act of sneakin’ bacon. Who can blame him?)
